Rumblin’ In
Ridgeland Was A HUGE Success!
The first
annual Rumblin’ In Ridgeland Car & Bike Show on April
17, 2010, was a huge success as some of the most beautiful cars, trucks and motorcycles
in the southeast made their way to the campus of Holmes Community College in Ridgeland,
MS. Here they came, 126 classic cars & trucks, 19 motorcycles and 14 new vehicles
from local dealers all registered and were all on display to the delight of more
than 2,000 spectators. Absolutely picture perfect weather, lots of shade trees,
great music from oldies station Q105 and the smell of freshly grilled hamburgers
from Back Yard Burgers and pizza from Soul Shine Pizza filled the
air. Lots of door prizes were given out and many won some very nice raffle items
from Sunnybrook Children’s Homes. The event ended with the awards ceremony
as more than 100 awards were given out to the top vehicles in several classes. Shown
below are the award winners at this year’s event. Planning has already started on
the 2011 Rumblin’ In Ridgeland event so be sure to watch for the details
